If you've ever seen the new Hubba Bubba commercials, especially one advertising the Hubba Bubba "MAX", you have seen how homosexual the two obviously male mascots seem to be. To describe the commercial with the Hubba and Bubba (as they are named for the Purple and Pink respectively), are at the zoo passing a babboon exhibit. Bubbba get's caught by the Babboon who in turn seems to be dry humping him, while Hubba is busily making a few jokes and then chooses to save him via blowing a gum bubble.

Usually when either blows a gum bubble, it's like an ultimate attack where the result isn't death or pain, but painting/covering a colour of pink and purple ALL over their targets. After the Babboon deathly shamed about his new shade of pink for his fur, he trys to cover his ass, in turn Hubba closes out with "I guess the honeymoon is over"

Bizzarly enough it seems that in the picture above, Hubba seems MUCH too enthusiastic (even though he's not directly looking at it) at the long finger than Hubba has extended vertically.

The first real avatar I made was ripped from the OldSkooled series. A wonderful sprite comic about 8-bit characters, more specifically from Nintendo 8-Bit Era characters. The first took much longer than I wanted, a way to alleviate boredom. But more so that because each frame I was making, I made in paint. In fact it took so long, I'm actually embrassed to express how long I took on it because it borders on obsessive and is even stupid to spend so much time on something so silly.

Each avatar will click to the appropriate url to the source sprite comic that inspired (AKA I ripped off). (#1-4 read from left to right, top to bottom) Nevertheless it was one the avatar series that basically brought out the....*sigh*...fame of my av making skills. I don't like to boast it because really it is a shameful thing when you take into consideration all the other things that you can be doing in the meanwhile...which in turn I am doing in other things than making avs all day.

Interestingly enough, people expected the series to continue after #2. And to tell the truth I didn't have anything planned for #3. A general idea, once again inspired by the source material but this was a total departure from the previous versions. I actually decided to add in other things that I felt were funny. Just to spare you the suspense, it didn't work out to be as funny as the previous ones.

#3 was the first time I deviated to form my own real plotline to the source material. Hell it didn't even relate or fit in the storyline in the original sprite comic, the bartender was the one who Samus and Mario was trying to visit in the hospital. But I had ideas.

One of the more obscure references was to a movie Playing God in which David Duchovny played an out of work doctor who had his licsense revoked due to a bodged surgery. What happened is that after a surgery he took a "depressant" drug. As he was cozying up with his subdued mood, he was summoned to another emergency surgery. In order to cope with his state, he took an upper drug. Not the best combination. Hence the mushroom and the magic potion.

Of course drug ideas and crazy hallucinations arose in the av. It dragged on and that what was probably the biggest problem about it all.

#4 was an idea that is totally seperate. In fact I can make a follow-up to it, despite being very well ended. I didn't like the fact that I ended with Mama-Mia, which is a bit too stereotypical for my part...but I had to do at the time. A lot of the jokes are in jokes once again regarding the fighting game work. The jokes mostly come from the SNK character Terry Bogard's "engrish" sound clips from his fighting games, Fatal Fury (AKA Garou Densetsu) and The King of the Fighters.

Among one of his more popular ones is when he yells out "Are you OK?" during his start up animation before he does his super attack; the "Buster Wolf" which he also yells out loud as "Busttaaaaaaaaa WOOOOOOOLF"!

In this case, while Terry's all stuck up in the bathroom, it's his brother Andy Bogard who asks if he is "ok". The term "Oh my Shit" is once again another engrish misrepresentation. It's based on his super called the "Angle Geyser" where in the first part of the attack he yells out "Overdrive!" the followed by "Geyser!".

Last year was quite a sad year to tell the truth.  Quite a few people of the fighting game community died.  More wide spread was Kao Maguera, a famed fighting game FAQ writer who's detail in every aspect of FAQ writing inspired people to emulate his dedication to quality.  But more closer to home...more closer to SRK.com home was a friend to everyone: Mummy-B.

He was a great poster, very smart and as with all message boards was usually the winner of the arguements he was involved in.  And even in the most darkest times of his life, when he had cancer and was going through chemo to treat it he used SRK.com as a mini-blog/journal to describe how he felt and what pain he was going through.  It wasn't nice as support came pouring into the thread on how he'll beat it.  And he did.

That was 2.5 years ago.  A year later, the cancer had returned, this time infecting his brain, his lungs and other parts of his body.  After a long battle and more support that SRK.com has ever contributed Mummy-B and SRK.com lost the battle against cancer Mid Last year.

I don't have to say what most other people would say in how much this affected everyone.  I personally did not interact with him greatly, but it still was a shock.

The above avatar was basiacally his tribute avatar.  Commisioned by the SRKers, more specifically Ever/Pained Auron it took me a while to make considering I was still new to Photoshop but also at the time when my tagging skills were getting more recognition than they ever deserved.  This of course was an aftermath of a bunch of "Get Well Soon" avatars that began popping up around the board.  And lo a behold....I tried to make an avatar fitting of Mummy-B and SRK.com people thought it to be good.

We are coming up to the 1 year anniversary since his death and some people still wear it out of respect, out of nothing better to wear, out of laziness since they don't want to change it or out of wearing it because they just miss a friend.

I was searching around the site meter for the sister site Moon Karma Zero, which I update more frequently than this one (obviously) but I can easily say that Moon Karma Zero has become the unofficial homepage for our favorite sexual deviant, Brian Peppers.

I find it incredibly bizarre that for one post has gathered so much attention, so much so that we are #1 on the google search result for Brian Peppers, and have been granted the ever prestigious role of being the "I'm Feeling Lucky" google site.

I knew that together we'd be famous for something...but for posting up a pic of a sexual offender, I did not know. I hope 20/20 doesn't interview him because of this.
